NEW ZEALAND HONEY
TRIBUTE FROM CLIMBERS SOLE FOOD FOR TEN DAYS. LONDON, September 2. The British Himalayan expedition, in a letter to the New Zealand Honey Board from the camp at Sikkim, says: “The expedition has returned to its base on the completion of successful work in the Himalayas, during which one, party lived for 10 days solely on New Zealand honey owing to the supplies being raided by looters. Fortunately they missed seven jars of honey which were packed in a haversack.”
