BURNED TO DEATH
TWO BRITISH AIRWOMEN CRASH NEAR FLYING SCHOOL. LONDON, June 19. (Received June 19, at 10 p.m.) Two airwomen were burned to death near the Hatfield De Havilland Flying School Aerodrome. The machine crashed and immediately took fire, the bodies of both women being incinerated. One was Miss O’Brien, a daughter of Sir Timothy O’Brien and one of the best-known airwomen in Britain. She lost a leg in ah air smash in 1928, but nevertheless she again qualified as a pilot.
