WEST COAST MINES
WORK PROCEEDING QUIETLY. (Per United Press Association.) WESTPORT, June 15. Work is proceeding without interruption at the Charming Creek mine, the site of the recent disturbance, and also at the Cascade mine. The latter is producing 400 tons of coal a week, and Charming Creek 300 tons. No difficulty is being experienced in the handling or despatch of the coal.
