BOY’S DRESS REFORM
Boys at Mill Hill School (England) are next term Ito lead a public schools dress reform campaign, Mr M. L. Jacks, the headmaster, has given the boys the choice of wearing their ordinary clothes or grey flannel shorts or trousers with open necked ■ cricket shirts (says the NewsChronicle). There is every indication that the shorts’ vogue will conquer the school. Already the senior monitor and a number of the older boys have declared their intention of adopting shorts and the juniors are expected to follow suit. It the experiment is successful at Mill Hu . it is certain to be adopted by other wellknown public schools. Letters received recently by the Public Schools Parents Association show that hundreds of parents throughout the country arc in favom of dress reform on the lines now being adopted by AT ill Hill.
