MR NEILSON’S QUOTATIONS
TO THE EDITOR Sir, —In this morning’s Daily Times I read a letter by Mr P. Neilson, in which he refers to the Acts of the Apostles ii; 44. Surely he does not claim to he one of the' 'apostles- or he would start at St. John ill;’17,; And he might read from Acts/ii; 40, to the end, of chapter, and/Tearn who thdy were who had all things in common. ,'jSome people are fond of giving away l’6r trying to give away what does not belong to them, and misquoting Scripture out of time and place. Let them begin at the beginning and go on till they come to 1 Timothy ii, 5, and then to 2 Timothy ii; 15, and they will be able to direct-others aright. —I am, etc., , Berean. North-East Valley, June 6. ’ TO THE EDITOE. Sir, —In -ray letter in your issue,*,of this morning" appears the following:—“ Then again in the’ Acts, chapter ii," verse 4, we have it stated that the early apostles held all things common and no one lacked, etc.” This should read: “Acts, chapter ii and iv."—l am, etc., -.JuneTO, • ■ . P. Neilson.
