AN AMERICAN EXPEDITION. PLANNED FOR NEXT SUMMER. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, February 19. (Received Feb. 20, at 9 p.m.) A message from Chicago states that Commander Macmillan announced plans for an extended North Pole expedition during three months of next summer, the expedition to be in three sections headed by himself, Dr Alexander Forbes, and Sir Wilfred Grenfell. Aeroplanes will be used to study the possibility of the approach of a new glacier age.
