FISHERIES DISPUTE
JAPAN AND THE SOVIET. A CRISIS APPROACHING. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) TOKIO, February 18. The fisheries dispute between Japan and the Soviet is rapidly approaching a crisis. Vladivostock has notified the companies that the time has expired for licenses, and no further applications will be entertained. The Tokio Government has sent a strong protest to Moscow re-, questing the Soviet to consider the dispute in the light that its action is considered a breach of the treaty.
