GLASGOW SENSATION
ARREST OF BUSINESS MEN. THE ACCUSED REMANDED. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, February 18. (Received Feb. 18, at 8 p.m.) The thirteen Glasgow business men who were arrested in connection with the failure of Scottish Amalgamated Silks, Ltd., were remanded; one, aged 80, on a deposit of guaranteed cheques totalling £IO,OOO. It is understood that the case will take months to prepare.
