THE OTOKIA-KURI BUSH ROAD.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Everything stated by “ Traveller ” in his letter of the 22nd concerning the Otokia-Kuri Bush road is correct. To my knowledge, there hasn’t been a roadfence since the cowbyre was built, the road having been the stockyard, at times knee-deep with mud and slush. _ And yet" the council never had this disgraceful state of affairs rectified.—l am, etc., Knee-deep.
