PICNIC.

JOHN EDMOND, LTD. The employees of John Edmond, Ltd., and their friends held their annual picnic at Brighton on Saturday, there being a large attendance. A very enjoyable day was spent. Mr J. L. Gardiner, on behalf of the directors, welcomed the employees and their friends, and in a short speech expressed his pleasure at seeing such a happy gathering. _ The following are the results of tl(e various races held during the day:— - Edmond Cup Handicap: J.
