The proposed further trials of Miss England II on Lough Neagh have been abandoned as unnecessary, as the corrected figures show that she attained yesterday a speed of over 107 miles an hour. , Experts to-day examined the vessel, which appears to have withstood the tests satisfactorily. She will be crated and despatched forthwith to Buenos Aires in preparation for the official attempt by Kaye Don to lower the world’s record.
