DEMPSEY IMPROVING
LEAVING HOSPITAL SOON. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, January 23. Jack Dempsey is expected to leave the hospital in a day or two. A previous message stated: Jack Dempsey entered the Polyclinic Hospital today for treatment of an infection of the left hand. A growth out of a small cut on the fourth finger developed after a gymnasium work-out on Monday. The hand swelled to twice the normal size, and the infection is spreading to the arm.
