For Tramways, O’Connor (19), Blazey (10), and Teasdale (12, hot out) batted well, and for Town Hall Aitcheson (16) was the top scorer. Bowling for the winners, Blazey took 3 wickets for 27, O’Connor 5 for 6, Halliday I for 4, and Gi’iffin 1 for 7, and for Town Hall Drew took 3 for 13, J. Gould 2 for 21, Wilson 4 for 15, and A. Gould 1 for 5. Fruit Traders and Standard played a drawn game, Fruit Traders making 111 for 9 wickets and Standard losing 5 wickets for 45 runs. E. Prebble made 25, Diekel 22, Rowlatt 16, A. Prebble 10. and Bae 16, not out, for Fruit Trades, and for Standard Higgins (18, not out). Quest (17) were the top scorers. Bowling for Fruit Trades, Diekel (5 for 27) was the most successful bowler, and for Standard Quest took 4 wickets for 48 and Hendrick 4 for 33. It is easy to rid your children of worms.
