LEAGUE RESULTS. E. P. and L. Department defeated Pride of Leith by 66 runs to 57. For the winners Armstrong (22), Cropley (19), batted well, as did Duncan (20) and Kerr (13) for the losers. Bowling for E. P. and L„ Weir took 8 wickets for 26, York 2 for 16, and for Pride of Leith Brown (4 for 23), Hellyer (3 for 21), and Tinipson (2 for 1) bowled well. Hillside B defeated Loco by 111 to 62. For Hillside, Loeffler (46), Gibbs (17), Connelly (12), and Parsons (23, not out) batted well, as did M'Connachie (18), Briggs (14), and Long (12) for the losers. Bowling for Hillside, Gibbs took 4 wickets for 15, Crawford 1 for 16, Hope 1 for 3, and for Loco Findlay took 4 wickets for 22 and Keen 3 for 28. Hillside A defeated Star Office by 110 to 41.
