REPORTS FROM NORTHERN CENTRES. {Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, January 23. Perfect weather was experienced today, the conditions being fine and sunny with a light wind from the south-west. The barometer, which has risen steadily since yesterday, was rising this evening, the reading being 30.10 in. WELLINGTON, January 28. The sky was slightly overcast to-day with a northerly breeze. CHRISTCHURCH, January 23. The weather to-day was mild and cloudy, with a fresh breeze from the north-west. In the afternoon the maximum temperature was 67 degrees. The barometer is falling, the present reading being 29.73 in.
