ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT. TOURIST' TRAFFIC FALLING OFF. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, December 1. (Received Dec. 1, at 10.30 p.m.) The Administrator of Island (Mr A. J. Bennett), in his annual report, says that the residents are alarmed at the falling off of the tourist traffic, especially from New Zealand, owing to the withdrawal of the Maui Pomare. However, it is hoped to have the service restored in part at least. Norfolk Island has developed amazingly during five years. Imports have increased from £IB,OOO to £50,000 per year, and the exports from £6OOO. to £35,000. Whereas there was only one motor car on the island two years ago there ore now 100.
