(Received Dec. 1, at 5.5 p.m.l There was a touch of grim humour In connection with a robbery from a ffrave at Vancesson Cemetery. During the week as the outcome of a ; charge that the male friend of a, wealthy .woman who died, in ,1928 had stolen: her valuable jewellery the police exhumed the body.. When the coffiin was opened jewelled bracelets and rings valued at £640 were found buried with her, as the. man had Insisted. The grave was formally refilled ana the man-was discharged. To-day two robbers borrowed the grave digger's tools, dug up the coffin, and stole the lot.
