OUTBREAK OF FIRE.

BOY’S NARROW ESCAPE. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, December 1. A 15-year-old boy had a narow escape when a building in which he was sleeping at bis Lome in Park terrace, Fendalton, caught fire early this morning. The building, which was detached from the house, and comprised a motor garage, washhouse, toolbouse, and bedroom, was destroyed. The boy, who occupied the bedroom, was awakened by the sound of something burning, and got outside clad only in his pyjamas as flames burst into the room.
