CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Tiues.i AUCKLAND, October 3. The weather was fine at Auckland to lay, but a moderate southerly wind made the conditions cold. The barometer has stopped rising and now registers SOROin. WELLINGTON, October 3. Bright sunshine was experienced to-day. with a cold north wind. The night is cloudless and calm. CHRISTCHURCH, October 3. Warm pleasant weather prevailed today, the wind varying from cast to northwest, The maximum temperature was 70deg. The barometer, as is usual with a nor’-wester, is falling, the reading this evening being 29.75 in.
