Items by the choir will include four old favourites, and four songs recently abV 1 1? Song of the Northmen " (MautTa stlrrin g ße eßong, , “ in Pioardie " was always a favourite with audiences, and was last sung by the choir before the Prince of Wales in the Femhill Club in. May 1820. The fifcst scene from Act m “c, 0 highly acceptable item, and Misa Eva Scott and Mr J. D. M'Kechnie will be the aoloists, the members singing the “Pilgrim’s Chorus." Anothersong last sung here a decade ago is “-When Evenings Twilight" (Hatton), a lovely part-song. Housing sea chanties with a good swing are ‘ r ßoving’’ and “Clear-, the Track, and another swinging chorus, is Dawes ‘Down Among the Dead MenLet Them Lie." The gem of the pro-’ gramme will be Dudley Buck’s “ Hymn to'" Music." The lady soloist will.be Mrs WiUtred Andrews, whose last appearance for* the choir was in 1922. She has a charming contralto voice, and will sing “The Lqreley (Liszt) and Donizetti’s 0 mio Bernando,” from “La Favorita." MissJudd will be the violinist, and Messrs. C. S. Hawes and E. W. Bobbins, the bass' and. tenor, respectively. A quartet party' will sag Button’s “Land o r the Leal.** v The bos plan arrangements are adver* tised.
