AQUATICS.
VAUXHALL POWER BOAT AND SAILING CLUB. The annual meeting of the Vauxhall Power Boat and Sailing Club was held in the Y.M.C.A. rooms last evening, the commodore (Mr W. H. Sell) presiding over an attendance of about 60 members. The annual report and balance sheet were received and adopted, and four new members were elected. ’ ’ The following office-bearers were elected for the ensuing season Commodore, Mr W. H, Sell; vice-commodore, Mr M. Caddie; rear-commodore, Mr W. G. Hewitt; secretary, Mr F, C. Brown; treasurer, Mr R. Ingram; club captain, Mr R. J. Hitchon; committee—Messrs G. Tulloch, E. W. Sell, G. Tuckev, C. Pettit, F. T, Parte!, I. M'Grath, J. Burt, R, Reynolds, R. Morris, and H. C. Brown; delegates to the Otago Yacht and Motor Boat Association, Messrs W. 6. Hewitt and E. T, Moller; auditor, Mr J. A. C. Spence; trustees, Messrs ,Alec Burt and I*l. T. Moller; hon. solicitor, Mr J. Laing. The C. W. Sell Memorial Shield, being a championship shield for competition by inboard-engined speed boats, was presented to the club by the donor (Mr E, W.‘ Sell). Several matters dealing with club interests were discussed, and the question of building a club house was carefully considered. - The meeting closed with votes of thanks to the retiring secretary and treasurer..
