AUSTRALIA’S TRADE
DUTCH EAST INDIES MARKET. CAPABLE OF EXPANSION. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, September 29. Mr Parker Moloney (Federal Minister of Markets) conferred with Sir Josiah Crosby (Consul-general at Batavia), who expressed the opinion that Australia’s trade with the Dutch East Indies was capable of considerable expansion. He undertook on his return to do all he could in this direction. He urged that the pret.'nt position justified the presence of an Australian trade representative in Java.
