REPORTS FROM NORTHERN CENTRES. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, August 1,7. Dull weather with a light north-east wind prevailed on Saturday, followed by continuous rain during the night until 10 o’clock hie morning. The weather from then on-was fine but cloudy. CHRISTCHURCH, August 17. The weather during the week-end has been the best for three months. Yesterday was bright sunshine, but a chill east wind was blowing.
