WOODHAUGH SWIMMING POOL.

TO THE. EDITOR, .....' .... Sir, —For the past seven or eight years the residents of North Dunedin have had the privilege of' using, at their leisure, a fairly decent swimming pool in the Wpodhaugh Gardens. Since the last flood this pool has been neglected, and is now just ; a dirty ditch full of boulders' and weeds. From time to time there has been talk of 1 concreting this pool and making A good, besides sanitary job of it, but that is as far as things have got. Could not a number of unemployed men be’ given work here and ; get things done? On' behalf of the young blood and all those who appreciate a swim in the summer months, .1 write this and hope to see some steps taken to have the pool reconstructed before the ,coming swimming season,—l am, eta, High Dive.
