4YA PROGRAMMES.
TO THE EDITOR. Sis, —As the long-suSering owner a wireless set I wish to protest most indignantly against the quality of the concert programmes transmitted by 4YA, Dunedin. Take last night as an example. With the exception of the excellent address by Mr Hamilton, and the very enjoyable items by another gentleman, the rest of the programme was nothing short of an infliction. Would those responsible for the programmes try to realise that we are not ignorant coimtry bumpkins who will be quite satisfied with anything—even novelty syncopators—also that we expect, and insist, on getting value for our money.—l am, etc., Wireless, Dunedin, May 21.
