RIOTS IN A STOCKADE. TWO KILLED BY GUARDSMEN. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, May 8. A report from Columbus (Ohio) states that, following a tense night, in which several minor riots occurred, 050 unruly prisoners, isolated by a high wire stockade, set fire to the tents in which they were sleeping. Two convicts were killed and one was injured by machine gun fire by the National -guardsmen on the wall.
