ALL BLACKS' TRIAL MATCHES. THE OTAGO NOMINATIONS. The Otago selectors Messrs A. M'Donald, D. Stuart, and Dr Perry—have nominated Lindsay (University.), Wilson (Alhambra), Oliver fKaikorai), M'Clymont (Southern), Bradanovitch (University), Here (Southern), Collett (Dunedin)., and Souter (Alhambra), for inclusion in the Probables v. Possibles match at Christchurch for the purpose of enabling the New Zealand selectors to choose the All Black side to meet the British team. Oliver has left for Wellington, but the Otago selectors consider that he is .Migible as a South Island'representative. , TARANAKI DISAPPOINTED. (Per United Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, May 8. ‘ The public of Taranaki has every justification for extreme dissatisfaction with the selection of the Possibles and Probables for the Rugby trial game,” said the chairman of the Management Committee of the Taranaki Rugby Union (Mi J antes M‘Leod). The selectors did not consider that Taranaki had one player worthy of selection, even as an emergency. The teams, it was understood,’ were selected on last year’s form, when Taranaki defeated both Wellington and Auckland, yet Wellington had 10 players selected and Auckland seven, M'Lean has not played for Taranaki this year. He is playing in Wellington.
