PRIME MINISTER'S STATEMENT. STOCK ALLOTMENTS. (Peb Un/ted Peers Association. ' J AUCKLAND, May 8. In a statement telephoned from Rotorua, ’ the Premier states that he has received a cablegram from the High Commissioner reading;—The total applications for the London loan were 21,852, aggregating £19,577,899. Stock allotments have been made as follower— W A PP lscftntß for £IOO received, nil; (2) applicants £2OO up to £SOO worth, received £100; and (3) those over £6OO received just under 30 per Cent Dealings commenced on the Stock Exchange xoo ?l ori i i ] lg 7 )> opening at about £OB 17s 6d to £O9; and closing in the afternoon at about £99.
