MAKOGAI ISLAND.
THE LEPER STATION. SISTERS RETURNING TO DUTY. (Special to Daily Times.) Auckland, May 7. Yesterday there sailed from Auckland by the Aorangi two women whose courage enables them to live lives of self-sacrifice. They are Sisters Suzanne and Theodore* of the leper station on Makogai Island, not far from Levuka. They have been on holiday to New Zealand, the first .rest that either has had for many long years. Neither sister would say much of the greakworkthat is going on in the station, but both were unanimous, in wishing the people of New Zealand well for the ■Plendri response that each year greets the Christmas appeal for the inmates of Makogai. '
