FERMENT IN SPAIN
RIOTING AMONG STUDENTS. university’ TO BE CLOSED. (ttnlted Press Association.) ' (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) , LONDON, May 6. (Received May 6, at 8 p.m.) The Madrid correspondent of The Times says that the university authorities have decided to close the university to prevent disturbances, which are quite different from the conflict last year, which involved purely university issues. It is Ow a question of law and order, and it is believed that It the students are not brought to reason the rioting may spread. Several have been injured in clashes between .republicans and royalists. Cabinet has been summoned hurriedly to consider the position, which is ns bad as when General de Rivera was dictator. Senor Ossorio, in a speech at Saragossa, openly demanded King Alfonso’s abdication.
