Since 1881 Messrs J. and T. Christie have carried on business in Dunedin as plumbers, brass founders, coppersmiths, iron workers, heating engineers, and importers and manufacturers of all kinds of plumbers’ equipment, and during the lengthy period that has elapsed, the business has grown from comparatively small dimensions to its present substantial proportions, a steady expansion having taken place. Another department is devoted to brass finishing, engineering, and plating work, while, another section of the premises is taken up by the sheet metal shop, where skylights, baths, ventilators, high and low pressure flushing cisterns, and all kinds of sheet metal manufactures are turned out. Skylights and glass houses are a specialty of this firm. The moulding department is well appointed, and has hundreds of pat-terns-of all plumbers’ brass work to meet every requirement.
