ANDERSON'S MOTOR BODY WORKS.
This go-ahead firm’s business has so outgrown its present premises in Manor place that it will shortly ’remove to more commodious buildings. Mr G, T. Anderson, the principal, has been . actively engaged in this trade for 24 year's, and worked on some of the first bodies built in New Zealand by , Messrs Stevens and Sons, Christchurch. Later he was' foreman and designer for Messrs Johnson and Smith, motor body builders, Christchurch. In exhibition year h e came to Dunedin to Markhams' Motors, and'has now set up business on, his own account. Commander -Byrd, of the Byrd Antarctic Expedition, entrusted this- firm with the building of his aeroplane ’ sledges, dog sledges, and shoes for cars on the ice. A very important part of the firm’s work is the reconditioning of cars after accidents, and it can turn out re-conditioned equal to, if not better than ■ they were originally. A very speedy service is offered for dented or torn mudguards or panels, the repairing and oxyacetone welding work is carried out at. the shortest notice.
