Twenty miles from ; Port Nolloth, Nnmaqualaud, heavy seas have eaten huge caves at the base of the cliffs, and men found one in which the action of the sea had bared a diamondiferous stratum. Although the descent down the cliffs was a dangerous one, they entered the cave at every low tide, for each time the waves left the cave they bared more diamonds. Unfortunately for the men, the cave whs in the prohibited diamond digging area. They found the temptation to continue when they had already accumulated a huge fortune too hard to resist, and at last the police hoard bf their scheme. They entered the cave and caught the raiders rcd-han'dcd.
