ENTERTAINMENT BY DRAMATIC GRUB, ■ A most successful entertainment was given in the Constance Hal Kat. Golumba College last evening by the college Amhteur Dramatic Club. : The’ proceeds were, in aid of a matinee fund, and a portion will also be devoted to the purchase of stage properties for the Dramatic_ Club. The amount raised was in the vicinity of £2O. The outstanding actresses in the junior play were Miss Joyce Treioar, as Jimmy Tremaine, and Miss Enid Hogg, as Belinda Tremajne. In the senior, play the most effective were Miss, Patricia Leihy, as Cinderella, and Miss Betty Fraser,' as' the policeman. The scene for “ The Slippers of Cinderella ” was a very shabby parlour'on a winter’s evening, and the various characters were enacted 'by the following:— Betty Begg, Margaret Jopp, Linda M‘Keuzie, Joyce. Treioar, Enid Hogg, Glee Love,: "Myrtle Smellie, Frances Matcoin, .Dorothy Chewings. In "A Kiss for Cinderella ” (fpur acts) the characters were played by_ the following:—Betty Fraser, Pat Leihy, Peggy Allan, Jenny Lane. - Nell Barth, Reda M'Kenzic, Helen Borrie, Moira M'Kenzie.
