INQUIRY CONCERNING FUNDS. , COMMITTEE’S REPORT. (British Official Wireless.) (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) RUGBY, May 4. (Received May 5, at 6.5. p.m.) Viscount Bridgeman’s committee, after an investigation of the accounts of the British Legion,‘reports that it failed to discover any serious blemish in tho Legion. The suspicions were due to t’ j discovery of the dishonesty of one official, and .wore devoid of any justification. Tho ■urn of £403,006 was distributed as relief during last financial year, representing 69 per cent, of the Legion’s gross income. The committee considers that the expenses «ou!d be reduced by closer control. ‘
