LONDON, May 6 There was a remarkable incident at Westminster Abbey on Sunday afternoon when the dean and canons assembled at David Livingstone’s tomb while 40 negroes and negresses sang spirituals. They arc students of the Hampton Institute, which was founded in America in 1868 to educate newly-freed slaves,.-' " Don’t Be Weary, Traveller,” “ Come to Jesus,” and other spirituals made a wonderful appeal, echoing amid the pillars and vaults of the Abbey, which was • crowded for the occasion.
