TONGARIRO TIMBER PROPERTIES.
BOX COMPANY’S PROTEST; (Pei United Press Association.) ELTHAM, May 5. A representative meeting of 70 members of do-operative dairy companies interested in the Egmont Box Company was held this morning to consider the action of the Government in permitting the confiscation by the Aotea Native Land Board of the Tongariro Timber Company's timber properties in which the Bos Company is financially interested. A resolution wad unanimously passed protecting against., such action without submitting any claim to arbitration, as provided for in last year’s legislation, and a representative deputation was. appointed to interview the Government.
