To-day was a perfect autumn day, bright and dear,, with, a tong in the air. The maximum temperature was 68 degrees. The wind ■ was light from the south-west dn the morning, and from the east in the, aftemoom The barometer hu a falling tendency, the present reading being 30.20. The night la still and dear, with every indication of a frost exceeding the 9 degrees Registered this morning.
