UNIVERSITY ROWING.
ANNUAL EIGHT-OARED RACE. (Special to Dail-z Times.) WELLINGTON, April 1. The annual eight-oared boat race of the New Zealand university colleges is to take place on Saturday, April 19, at Auckland. The race this year win be of added interest because the four university colleges will be represented. The trophy for the event is a shield of beautiful Maori carving, which was presented by the Mieses Heberly, o£ Lower Hutt, xn the last three years Victoria, University College has successfully carried off tue honours. This year it will be represented by the following crew.—Bell (stroke), Mullins (7), Gane (6), Kemp (5), Eteele (4), Macgregor (3), M Gavin (2), Rees (bow), Gooch (cox).
