PROPHECY FULFILLED
RECKLESS LIFE ENDED MILLIONAIRE’S SON KILLED. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, March 2. (Recievecl March 2, at 11.55 p.m.) A week ago William Valandigham Kelly, aged 33 years, a son of a Chicago millionaire, told his friends that he would some day be brought home in a coffin. To-day his body was embalmed ready for shipment to his American parents. He was killed in a car accident at Balmain in the early hours on Friday, He led a wild and reckless life in Sydney, spending his remittances as fast as he received them from an indulgent father, who had hoped that he would reform in Australia.
The police have obtained some correspondence which showed that Kelly was married, with two children in Los Angeles.
