BARQUE KILLORAN SAFE
ARRIVAL AT VENEZUELAN PORT. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) LONDON, February 28. The barque Killoran arrived at Puerto Cahello, Venezuela, on Wednesday. A cable message from London on February 19 stated that grave anxiety was felt concerning thq safety of the Finnish barque Killoran, which left Newport (Monmouthshire) on January 12, coalladen, for Venezuela. A water-logged boat marked “ Killoran ” was sighted on February 13 in latitude 39.33 degrees north, longitude 19.4 degrees west, after a heavy gale. The vessel is one of the Gustav Erickson school of. ships, and is manned by 20 Finnish apprentices.
