MODEL YACHT RACING.
The boys' model yacht races, which were postponed from Ravensbourne regatta day, were hold on Saturday afternoon under a light south-easterly breeze. Some very good racing was witnessed. In the second class event, in which 21 competed, the result was as follows;—J. Tomlinson’s Joyce 1, C. Todd’s Ravens 2. G. Tomlinson’s Betty 3. In the first class competition 15 boats were entered, the rigging out of which was a credit to the youthful owners. The result was as follows: —L. Todd’s Eileen 1, D Grubb’s Yera 2. T. French’s Rata 3.
