ROXBURGH, February 28. ~ winner ® the southern section of the Vincent Lawn Tennis Sub-association, the Roxburgh A team had to'play the the northern section, Crom- ’ This j championship match took place at Clyde on Saturday last. Conditions were excellent for tennis, and, f, good deal of interest was centred m the game, there was a large attendance of spectators. The local club had an unbeaten recorded was keen to win. This it had no difficulty in doing, Roxburgh winning by 13 sets (IX7 games) to Cromwell’s 3 sets (83 games).
