Conditions were excellent for tennis, and, f, good deal of interest was centred m the game, there was a large attendance of spectators. The local club had an unbeaten recorded was keen to win. This it had no difficulty in doing, Roxburgh winning by 13 sets (IX7 games) to Cromwell’s 3 sets (83 games).
