HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE.
The final performance of “ Barebacks,” the first offering by Jim Gerald and his company in its present season in Dunedin, was brought to a successful conclusion before a large audience at His Majesty’s Theatre last night. The entertaining vaudeville turns and the bright and amusing revue, in which Jim Gerald once again gave evidence of his ability as a comedian, kept the audience in excellent humour throughout the course* of the programme, whilst the catchy singing and dancing provided by the remainder of the company kept the show going along merrily. “ OH, MUM! ” , With Jim Gerald at the head of affairs, the company will bring before the public th-day another amusing revue. This is entitled “ Oh, Mum,” and can be relied upon fully to entertain all those who sec it. Jim is a master of comedy, and ho is supported bv a talented combination 'which combines in an effort to dispel gloom, the ballet girls being well to the fore with some of the neatest dancing one could wish to see. Summed up, it may be said that ‘*,oll, Mum” is one of the brightest Fuller shows seen in Dunedin for many a long day. In the earlier part of the programme a collection of very clever vaudeville turns will be seen. In these, too, the various members of the company arc most successful.
