CRICKET IN ENGLAND
THE BOARD OF CONTROL. ARRANGEMENTS FOR TESTS. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph— Copyright.) LONDON, February 27. The Cricket Board of Control met at Lord’s to make arrangements for the Australian tests. Lord Harris presided; Three selectors were appointed, but their names are not being divulged at present. Two changes were made in the rules which were for the matches against South Africa in 1929—namely, the captains shall decide as V> fitness of the wicket, ground, and light, and if they disagree the umpires’ decision shall be final. If the fifth test is played out the grass on the pitch shall be cut in the presence of the umpires, and on the outfield as far as possible, each morning during the match.
