FRENCH WOMAN ATHLETE
EXPELLED BY FEDERATION. WEARING MASCULINE ATTIRE. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) • PARIS, February 25, (Received Feb. 26, at 8 p.m.) Madame Vilette Morris, a famous French motorist and an all-round athlete, is determined to fight to the last against her expulsion by the Feminine Sporting Federation because she insisted in wearing trousers on sports grounds. She will begin an action to-morrow, in which she is claiming £BOO damages. Madame Morris, who has worn masculine attire for years, finds trousers more convenient as the proprietor of a garage, and when she is engaged in sports. She asked a newspaper man whether he could imagine her with a fluffy dress, curly hair, and rouge driving a powerful racing c^u - , or bossing rough men in a garage while she was showing legs in silk stockings.
