Footballs and miniature goal posts were suspended over the pulpit and lectern of St. Paul’s Church. Kingston Hill, London, a few Sundays ago, when the annual service for footballers was held, A banner in the colours of the Kingstonian Football Chib waa draped round the pulpit, and club colours were used to denote reserved pews. Having blown a referee’s whistle, the vicar preached an appropriate sermon.
