ADVISING THE YOUNG.
\ TO THE EDITOR, i SuL—As the father of a family of U, I understood that the churches had finale workers who could give young girls good advice and advise them as to the course they should follow. Now I find out that in the case of one denomination this is a mistaken idea. I appealed for someone to have a talk with a daughter who i$ at a very critical age and. to give her good advice as to her future. A male who styles himself a minister had an interview with her in a private room, and from what my daughter has told other persons the questions which he put to her during their conversation were such as should be put only by a woman to any young woman at such a critical age. As the father of a large family, and as a widower,. I think it is about time that all denominations sent persons of the right sex to the right quarter if they wish the young to grow up in the right way.—l am, etc.. Fatheb op Eleven.
