(Received Jan. 20, at 5,5 p.m.) Fighting against rebels, Italian troops captured and occupied Murzuk, which gives them command of the entire inland of Tripoli. Italy in 1924 abandoned Murzuk and other inland posts, limiting her occupation to the coastal areas, but reconquest of the interior has. continued gradually since 1927. In the Murzuk fighting 48 natives were killed and 12 captured. Ajr forces Overtook and annihilated a retreating column comprised of 300 camels. °
