CINDER TRACK CHAMPION.

(Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 6. W. Kilmlnster, the Wellington cinder track champion, met with outstanding success at the Western Springs Speedway this evening. He was entered for three events, and won them all, finishing first in the New Year Handicap, the Big Nine Championship, and the special Wellington versus Auckland challenge match In the challenge match he heat w! Allen and B. Bray, both of Auckland' A. Mattson and W. Herbert, the two Aucklanders who really challenged Kilminster, could not ride owing to minor injuries. Kilminster also beat Sticpcwich's four-lap or mile record of l m in 28 4-osec, covering the distance in lmin 27 3-ssec. He also lapped in 21sec which is 3-ssec faster than the one lap record.
